Rikuo Nura, is 3 parts human and a quarter Demon, lives in a house of spirits with his grandfather, The current clan head of the Nura youkai. Rikou is set to be the next clan head, despit the fact he dilikes his demon side. He soon come to terms with his demon blood and decides to take his position as young master of the Nura house. Ryuji Keikain uses his Shikigami “Gyogen” to attack Rikuo, who defends himself with his blade. Ryuji halts his attack when he recognizes the blade as “Nenekirimaru,” a Spirit Blade that can only cut down yokai.
During the era when the Toyotomi clan ruled Japan, there lived a young woman known as Princess Yo, who could heal any wound or disease with her magical powers.
Rikuo completes his training and returns to Ukiyoe Town with the Tono-Yokai. Seeing the progress his grandson has made, Nurarihyon allows Rikuo to go to Kyoto.

The battle between Rikuo and Tsuchi-Gumo reaches its climax. Meanwhile, Nurarihyon enters Nijo Castle to confront Hagoromo-Gitsune for the first time in 400 years.
